the time has come...

…I’m moving to Malaysia! WHAT?! Saying those words aloud is simply surreal. In exactly 24 hours from right now I’ll be leaving behind what I know and jumping in, face first, into what I don’t know.

In April of 2018, I received the news that I got a Fulbright grant to teach English in rural Malaysia. Since then, it’s been pure anticipation and nerves and excitement. Hard to believe my departure date is already here.

In this blog, I’ll relay special moments and unique memories. I’ll tell you about my bad days and road blocks. I’ll share with you my journey through word and picture.

So, keep your eyes peeled! I can’t wait to embark on this wild adventure with you.
